submission details

The theme of this issue is dynamics between survivors. Our editors want to see strife, hardship, epidemics, and apocalypses all made worse--or merely emphasized--by the characters that outlast them. This issue is widely inspired by Stephen King's The Mist and Neil Druckerman's video game turned screenplay The Last of Us. You can find similar inspiration in our most recent issue's "That'll Be The Day" by Mathew Gostelow. Pens up--we're ready to root for the plague.

This page will keep you updated on everything we're still looking for and everything we will no longer be accepting for this issue. More information on how to submit can be found here.
