About Us

Black Glass Pages is a literary magazine curated, designed, and produced by nihilists. Life to us is imagining Sisyphus happy, sorrowful pronunciations of Dostoevsky, and generally attempting to create an environment that Donna Tartt would turn her nose up at. Our staff believe that the ambition of aesthetes, darting messages between girls, has found its final resting place and left us to grapple with Kafka's nightmare.

     Still, we find that a brief respite can be taken in the sharing of mutual misery and it is because of this that we embrace the hopeless drive to be better, swaddle the ignorance of worldly pleasures, knowing that bliss will never come...
